Here at Bliss we use only use Lycon peelable wax to carry out our facial waxing treatments, formulated for sensitive skin types to achieve a smooth pain-free wax with little to no redness afterwards. A lash enhancement is perfect if you are preparing for a special occassion or simply want an effortless everyday look.
Facial Waxing/Threading Tips!
- Avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks pre & post appointment- to prevent irritation to the skin.
- Avoid harsh products containing Retinol/Retin A or active acids for at least 1 week pre & post treatment.
- Grow hairs for as long as possible, roughly 3-4 weeks (if hairs are too short/stubbly the wax/thread will not be able to pull the hairs).
- Do not shave or pluck hairs between facial waxing/threading appointments, as it disturbs the overall hair cycle (meaning all your hairs will regrow at different stages).
- Avoid heat, saunas, strenous exercise or hot showers post treatment- to avoid sweat clogging your pores and creating a breakout.
- Avoid directly touching the area post wax/thread.
- Post treatment, the area will be red/pink depending on the sensitivity of your skin. The skin may feel hot and tender for a little while after treatment. If needed, you can apply a cooling product like Aloe Vera on the area at home.
