If you have not had any type of waxing done before or your skin is sensitive, please come in prior to your appointment & have a patch test!
What should I do pre & post waxing appointment?
- You must let your hair grow for at least 3-4 weeks. This means avoiding shaving, epilating, hair removal creams & plucking in between treatments – to ensure your waxing therapist is able to remove all the hairs. If your hairs have not had enough time to grow, your regrowth will come faster as there may be hairs right under the skin that have not had long enough to grow up through the skin.
- Please avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks pre & post waxing appointment – this is to prevent burning the skin & irritation.
- A few days pre & post waxing appointment, ensure to exfoliate the area – remove dead skin cells & prevent ingrown hairs.
- If you come in to your appointment wearing fake tan on the area being treated, the wax will remove your fake tan.
- On the day of your appointment, wear loose fitted clothing – to air out your skin post wax.
- Post waxing – avoid hot showers, saunas, swimming pools & intense workouts – to prevent the heat & sweat from agrivating the area you had waxed.
- Avoid applying fake tan, creams, deodorants & perfumes to the area for 24-48 hours post wax.
